When going in to talk to him it was very nice to be there almost alone, it make the visit much more comfortable when you aren't sitting in a waiting room with 20 other people. Dr. Bauman struck me as a very competent and well informed surgeon. The program that Dr. Bauman puts his patients through covers all bases and makes sure that the patient is truly suitable for surgery. The aftercare program seems to be the same as is contains regular visits with Dr. Bauman and required monthly visits with the nutritionists.
