Oh my goodness--I had forgotten that I typed that 1 yr. post-op!! Well now I'm 1 and a half years post-op, weighing 153#!! Size 6/8 pants and Med. shirts--from 22/24 pants and 26/28 shirts!! How wonderful this surgery has been. 129 pounds gone FOREVER!!!!!
My thoughts on the surgery

This was absolutely the best decision I ever made. I am almost a year post-July 27 will be 1 yr.- and I have lost 115# as of this morning!! I used to weigh 280#, now I weigh 165#!!! ( I'm 5'8") I feel fantastic--so much energy, next to nothing aches anymore, and I look great (so I'm told). People I haven't seen in a while don't even recognize me! I love it!!
Dr. Caruana and everyone on his staff is wonderful, patient, caring, considerate, and kind--all of them!! I have nothing bad to say about any of my experiences with the Doctor, the hospital or anyone.
I've had no complications-surgical or otherwise. I eat anything and everything--just in small amounts now.
