Nine Days Post-Op

Wow. I can't believe I am nine days post-opp. I feel like pre-op was such a whirlwind of testing and mental preparation and alerting friends and family members... and now it's all quiet. And I'm good.
I am having some uncomfortable gas pains but my surgeon's office has given me some tips on remedying that so with hope it works. Otherwise, I feel really good and energetic. More energetic than I've been in years.
I'm currently down 20lbs. TWENTY POUNDS. In nine days. It's amazing. I know as I head into week three and start eating mushy foods I will stall a little and then begin losing again, but even taking off this 20lbs has been a lifesaver to me. I can't wait to see the rest of the weight come off and my life to further change.
I want to thank everyone who sent good luck and thoughts and such. This is such a great community.
