Well it is now 3 years since I had my surgery. I still love life. I have hit all the goals, I set out to do, and now have to set new ones.Let me tell you about my goals.
1st was to get in to size 14, well I have now been in a size 8 for 2 1/2 years
2nd was to get into size 34 501 Levis, I am in size 30.
3rd was to do a 1/2 marathon in 3hrs. I have done 6 of the all under 3hrs (2:53 is my best)
4th was to do Los Angeles Marathon in 6hrs (well I did but it took me 6hrs 29 min) I am very happy with my time.
New goals for me, to help others.
I am now the Walking Coach for the Pasadena Pacers. (A free running club) but we have a free walking group.
My goal is to help other to finish the Los Angeles Marathon in 2010.
I also now belong to a Race Walking group. Both groups are filled with wonderful people, which have 1 goal in mind to stay fit.
I was talking with a friend the other day, and she told me she came across a picture of me b4 surgery, and had to think of who that was. She said she can’t remember me like that any more. I was very happy to hear that.
Well I will close for now, I maintain between 165 and 170, don’t like the 170
