"Irronically I work for this hospital so I was very skeptical about having surgery here because of privacy reasons and I didn't feel comfortable however the hospital exceeded my expectations, the nurses were so professional and someone even called me the following week from the hospital to see how I was feeling........what more could you ask for? "This was my second consultation, I was not at all impressed with the first surgeon I met with. However from the first time I walked into Dr.Malhotra's office I felt like I was going to be well taken care of. I work in healthcare and tend to be critical and in the case of WLS, I am being even more critical because this is my life! Dr. Malhotra is very compassionate, caring and extremely knowledgeable of WLS. He contacted my primary doctor the same day! On a scale from 1-10 with 10 being the absolute best I would give Dr.Malhotra and his staff a 10 all the way!! To me surgical competence is much more important than bedside manner, with Dr. Malhotra his surgical competence and bedside manner are both amazing!! I felt completely comfortable with him and how he treated me(I was not embarassed at all!) He explained everything completely and fully to me, the good and the bad! He was not at all judgemental as far as the lap band versus gastric bypass which I also appreciate! I have NOTHING negative to say about him....sorry!! "
