I gained over a 100 pounds in the last 2 years. I decided on weight loss surgery last year, but didnt take the steps until recently.
October 5th 2oo9 I made the call, on my way to a better me.
October 12, 2oo9 - Individual seminar with American Institute of Gastric Banding in True Results Scottsdale, AZ
-consultation & EKG, cleared for surgery (health wise) !!
October 19, 2oo9 - Bloodwork/Labs
October 23, 2oo9 - MMPI test part 1 of 2 psych evaluations
October 30, 2oo9 - Nutrition appointment at True Results Scottsdale
November 3, 2oo9 - part 2 of psych evaluation. *a great candidate for surgery! cleared for surgery (mentally) !!
Wednesday November 4 my packet was sent to my insurance!

& was approved on Tuesday November 10th! ..thank god I have amazing health insurance & that they cover EVERYTHING!
started my pre-op diet on friday Nov. 13 (although its not required until the 20th)
Pre-op appointment is on November 24th!
**schedualed surgery date is December 4th, 2oo9!

I got everything needed done to gain clearance for surgery & for my insurance in 3 weeks! Persistance and impatience did pay off :) j/k
