Hello Janet. You know, i've had many experiances like yours, not being able to fit comfortably in a seat (you would think at a doctors office they would have seats large enough for EVERYBODY) and i've had people stare, but there's one thing i've noticed about myself since i started this journey into WLS. I am now more confident about myself because i know that i am doing something to change and fix my problem. A few months ago you couldnt have tortured my real weight number out of me, but now, i dont mind sharing it with anybody. I also walk with a lighter step, knowing that soon, i'll be on the losing side. We can fix our problem, but people that stare, point, call names and the like, there's very little hope for them. There's nothing they can do to fix that inner ugliness. Keep your chin up hon and dont let those cruelties get you down. This journey is a personal one for us all, and damn the people that cant understand where we've been, how we got there, or what we're going through. God bless you hon, I pray that everything goes well for you. - Chrissy in Ky
