back from Surgery - Hurrah!

Back from Brno with CosmeticBliss. It was the best it could be if you are having 2/3rds of your stomache removed. The clinic was spotless and the staff were professional, capable and very very kind. Normally there are a group of 2-3 patients each week but I was on my own so the nurses made a speacial point of looking in and chatting, and Deborah and Michael from CosmeticBliss we frequent vistors and great morale boosters.
The op went fine and I had a super MOT check which showed I am hypertensive and have a small hiatus hernia. So I am off to my UK doctor on Monday about the blood pressure.
Its early days so I will update on the results as and when.
BTW the avatar is me from earlier days, I couldn't face the current me pics, not that there are any as I burnt them all!

Today (21st April) is the day I was due to have the surgery

But due to a nasty cold I had to postpone it for 3 weeks. Its a shame as I had psyched myself up and arranged cover at work etc but these things happen. I am now refocussing on May 10th as my date to fly out to Brno.
