Just wanted to wish you well. I know the process is so long but I am sure it is worth it. I am STILL waiting also. BTW: I was born in St Albans! 112-05-198th St. Amazing that I still remember the address some 45 YEARS later!! Moved to Port Jeff in third grade. We were around the corner from St. Pasqual's Catholic church. Are you near there?

As of today, June 29th, I have been trying to lose weight the traditional way by making better food choices. I have not weighed myself in a few weeks, so I do not know yet if I have been successful or not. I will continue to change my eating habits by trying to eat more and to also eat on a schedule. I hope this helps me lose weight. Jai Rawls

I met with Dr. Mitchell Roslin today. He and his team gave a presentation on the different procedures available and the pros and cons for each one. As of right now, I will have to be on a 6 month doctor-monitored diet before CIGNA PPO will grant me the opportunity to have the surgery I need. I will give it my best shot and hope that all will turn out okay. Jai Rawls

Thank you for your support. I am trying yet another lifestyle change and am already failing at it. In addition, I have been advised that my blood pressure is currently 150/90. I have never had a problem with my blood pressure and now that I know that I am, it makes me feel even more afraid that I am falling apart. Armena, thank you for your offer to be my Angel. If I do proceed with the surgery [if CIGNA approves me and my husband realizes how serious I am], I will gladly accept your help. Thank you both for responding. I don't feel so all alone now.
