Slowly Shrinking
I have battled my weight all of my life. I got to the point where I had tried every diet and pill around. I got divorced and moved to Arkansas from Chicago. I did not want to move but needed help with my kids and I had to find a cheaper place to live. My parent's retired early and left the Chicago area and moved to Arkansas. I struggled living in a new place and dealing with a job that I did not like very much. I thought about bypass after watching a co-worker lose over 100 pounds but since I have too many friends in the medical field they all advised against it. I was too scared to have the bypass. I began to research the Lapband and after a year decided that it was my only choice. I had the surgery on July 20, 2006 and have not had any complications. I am so thankful for this surgery!
