I started the process that is weight loss surgery in April of 2006. In 2007 a large tumor was discovered while I was undergoing a physical as part of the process. Since then, I've had two surgeries and treatment for my cancer. Cancer put my weight loss surgery on hold. It has been a difficult time in my life.
