Hmmm, where to start. I was a child of circumstance, my Mother had a car wreck when I was in the 4th grade that left her with life long struggles. It broke her back and Rheumatoid Arthritis set in, she was bedfast more than not for over 16 years until she was called home. She was 53 and had many medical problems, obesity, High BP, Osteoporosis and RA. Diabeties also runs in my family so needles to say I have a long list of personal health concerns.

It seems like you take life for granted until you hit a certain age. I know I didn't take care of my body the way I should have when I was young or I wouldn't be where I am today. Things start to slowly, then more rapidly fall apart the older you get. I am now 44 years old, not far from the age of My Mother when she was called home. I have been seeing signs of my decay for years but I didn't seem to grasp the whole concept until recently. That is when I made the decision to take back control of my life and start fresh.

I am a married mother of 4 beautiful children and Grandmother to 3 rambunctious grandson's. My youngest daughter is expecting her first child 3/19/09 ( holding breath for the 20th as it is my BD). And my youngest son has decided to get married out of the blue. Needless to say it is going to be an exciting end and a very eventfull year and wonderful begining to the new year, the new me.
