Today is the first day I can say that I have woke up feeling half way decent - and as the day has progressed, I feel more and more like myself.   Yesterday, I felt like I was taking my last breath.  The hospital discharge didn't mention I would bleed for several days after coming home (after the catheter).    And I was taking in too much liquids causing me to be nausious a lot.   couple the two issues and the discomfort of the incision and I was a basket case all day.


Tuesday is a better day though......  starting to feel back to normal after anesthesia, which is good too.

Had difficulty falling to sleep last night due to nausea, but thank god for that little "Queasease" thing from the hospital.  It did the trick and I fell asleep.  Woke up around 6am, moved to the living room to start my liquid regimine.  Took pain medicine to ease the morning tension.   Around 10 I decided to take my first shower.   Shower was fine, but I realized I had blood in my urine, somewhat like you would have on a menstral period.  Talk to the dr and they think it's just my body flushing out surgical remains, so no need to worry.  Will call them tomorrow if it continues or increases. 

Started my b12 under the tonge and chewable vitamens today.  Was nice to chew something! 

Got dressed today in regular clothes; looks like I need to go for a walk right now before it starts to rain.

Today was surreal.  My revision surgery went really well.  They totally removed my old verticle ring and I did not have to have a drain tube!
The pain is tolerable.  There is pulling at the side when I walk, but other than that, not much other pain.  Trying to rebuild my strength and capacity for walking.   I am more tired than I expected, so I will go to bed eary tonight.
