Well, Today I received the packet from St. Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence. My appointment is 1/28/10.
This will be the 2nd time I have attempted this. The first time I talked to the surgeon and the nutritionist put me on a high protein/low carb diet to lose 20 lbs. I wasn't told I would lose a lot of water doing this. I have Crohns disease and part of my bowel has been removed and I already have problems keeping water. The nutritionist never called me back after 3 tries! The office never called to see what was going on with me. I didn't want them to touch me there!
A friend recommended St. V's. The lady I spoke to was very nice. She said she was going to send me paperwork. Boy! She wasn't kidding
I will do a little at a time so I don't mess anything up or forget anything.
I plan on doing the VGS. I will be looking around for people with simular surgeries and health issues. I also have Multiple Sclerosis.
