I am terrible at typing & spelling sorry all.... Any who all is well with me. The surgery went smoothly. My starting weight when i first told my pcp I needed the surgery and she gave me my referral was 229 which puts my BMI at 43.2 on a 5’1” frame. This indicates that I am Extremely Obese. My surgery was on March 22 2007 @ 7 in the morning. I had lap. RNY. I was very drugged when I was in my room I was seeing double my husband and children took pictures and my eyes where never both going in the same directions its so funny but i had a smile the whole time. I went home 2 days later i thought it was weird that they don't weigh you before surgery and before you leave the hospital so the last time I was weighed was @ my pre opt appt. and my weight was still 224 on March 16th. My first appt. post opt was on April 2 and I weighed in at 202 I was down total of 22lbs. I have had no trouble with my liquid diet how ever I was feeling very week simple things like taking a shower was very difficult at first . Other weird thing since surgery is every time I eat or drink strange noises happen its weird. After my post opt appt. Dr Wetter put me on stage 3 diet purade foods. So I am able to have eggs & chicken and just about anything except rice or pasta stuff. I am able to tolerate all foods. I eat 3 times a day. I need to work on eating slower I find im eating to fast and ill have food in my mouth and i cant swallow it because im full just a few thing im still learning to adj. to. Today being 5 weeks and 1 day out Im at 192.8 my weight fluctuates thru out the day so I like to weigh myself in the morning once a week. My next follow up appt. is May 9th. Until then or when I remember something ill try to up date.

I'm looking for a support group around my area......Benicia, Vallejo, Fairfield California. Help...
