surgery postponed again due to elevated wbc at 15.4!!! even higher than before...so won't be having surgery on the 14th as hoped; will now have to take more antibiotics and redo labs until get normal wbc and hopefully get back on surgery schedule...also will have to file new paperwork with new MAP beginning 1/1/11 and try to get reapproved for surgery....getting weary of this...

yep, another uti; repeated lab work last week and next day NP called and started me on Bactrim DS x 10 days; how can i stop these chronic uti's in time for surgery? water, water, water, and antbx is all i know

i am over the anger i felt when surgery set for 7 weeks away, of having to redo all lab work again, having to preadmit again...now it is 6 weeks away and i'm still trying to deal with "what in the world am i going to do with this old fat body" for the next 6 weeks...i'm tired of having to sit and wait...i have been trying to focus on my low fat diet and keeping my mind occupied with good thoughts...would love to start doing my water aerobics already....will see

hi, my name is ida from ferriday, la; have created this group in hopes of wls members coming aboard to discuss wls via rny and are over 50 years of age; i am 54 yo and anticipating rny surgery on 10/19/10; wow, only 12 days away; eagerly awaiting surgery and being on the "loser's bench"; currently i weigh 321# (having lost a few #'s by limiting portions); only 5'3" tall and have many many health problems!  looking forward to meeting other members in this catagory and blogging about wls...god bless u all
