Steve... isnt this surgery the best tool in the world?? I know for me it has given me the desire to continue living instead of existing til i die! you know there are things that only other people who have been obese can relate too and you brought out alot of those embarassing things in your profile and i appreciate that.... i can relate to so many of the things... !!! it brought tears to my eyes bout the eating in booths... and just the lil things like that no ' normal" size person can relate too... and even hygeine wise,,, so many things not easy to talk about that are just a world of different now... and my HEALTh! Oh MY .... diabetes is GONE... No more shots or pills... and i can walk through walmart without having to sit down... this surgery is the reason i could... many call it the easy way out... but I do not consider having my intestines rerouted EZ ... it was rather drastic .. but hey ... what i wouldnt have done to just be able to LIVE!!! i couldnt have made it without this surgery ... I am glad i met you in here steve ... and thank you so much for taking the time to help others by so generously sharing your story !!!! Love ya like a brother... bammy

Steve, I really like your profile, and found it to be very helpful, as it is informative and honest but still positive. I know this surgery will not be a piece of cake (pun intended), but your comments make me feel like I can do this.

Steve~~~ I think it is just shameful you have had no support group. Im the first to post to your page when you should have had an angel to get postings and support for you as well as update your progress. Im sorry for that. I enjoyed reading your info which was alot of usful stuff totally cool!
