Well today is THE DAY!!!!

Well, today is my big day, to a smaller life, but, healthier life. Finally, l never thought the day would come. I thought about lap band and gastric over a year ago, but chickened out. Then when l moved back here and saw all these now thinner friends that had gastric done, l said l need to look into this. Well, of course, l have the worst insurance of all. They will pay after 2 yrs of documented diets and such. I dont have another 2 yrs. So, l again gave up. I had only one hope, my dear mom, had passed Oct of 05, and left me a trust fund. I wrote my uncle who is the trustee, and after his two month vacation, he said yes...WOOO HEEE...so, he sent the checks off on Dec 20th, and here l am..wow, so fast. I can say l am a bit anxious, a bit scared of giving up my best friend, but, worst enemy. I am not into general anesthia, but, l have God on my side in this journey. My surgery is at noon today, and l will post as soon as I get home, tomorrow..prayers please...soon to be less of me, geri r
