"dr.oria and his staff are beautiful people, very informative, and willing to answer all questions from here to eternity, but lets get to the point here. i had the band put in october of 2003. I had lost 102 pounds. Today, 3 years later, I have gained back 50 pounds. Yes, it is a tool, but honestly, if you are a person who loves to eat, this is not the surgery for you. this is a tool, and people who like to eat will definitely get around it. I am now looking into the gastric bypass. I was a cash patient and feel like I wasted my money. maybe it is my fault, but i am just being honest. I don't think the band was worth it, but thats my own opinion. again, dr. oria and his staff are angels, but this surgery IS NOT for everyone."
