8 days out of surgery and feeling great!
I am having problems with the liquid diet but I will make it thru it somehow. As of this morning I have lost 17 pounds since surgery!!

Well my first post op appointment went very well. I have been on Soft foods since Thursday of last week and it has been working out pretty well.
As of this morning I am down to 225!!!!

Well it seems like I have been stuck at 205 for the past week. I need to get back into working out all of the time and eating more protein. I know what I need to do but just doing it is more than half of the battle. Sometimes I feel like my family doesn't understand what I am going through. It is so hard to sit their and watch my family eat all of the bad things that I miss.
I guess today it just a bad day; I will get thru it somehow.

YEAH!!!! The scale has started to move again. I am down to 201.5!!!!I can't wait to be under 200 lbs. It has been so long.

Today is a good day.
For the first time I am unable to wear my wedding rings because they are too big on me and also I am wearing a size 14. I can't believe I fit into a 14.
Not even a month ago my cousin gave me 3 bags of clothes and now they are too big on me...It just sucks that clothes cost so much but I love to go shopping.
As of today my BMI is 35.7

Things have been pretty good. I am not depressed anymore but I do find myself losing my patients with my 2 1/2 year old daughter. But I guess that is to be expected.
as of today I have lost 83 lbs and I have my 6 month check up on Thursday 09/21/06. I went last week to get my blood work done. I hope Dr. Tom is not made at me.
I find that I am starting to feel better about myself and I want to dress up more often (but buying the clothes is so expense for something I only wear for 2 weeks). I just bought 2 bra's yesterday and they are a size 36; before my surgery I was a size 42.
My pants are a size 14 (I can fit into a 12 but they are too tight)
I went from a size 2X shirt to a Medium.
I forgot what it was like to buy from a non plus size store.
But I am having fun with the whole shopping thing.
My birthday is next week so I am hoping to get gift cards to buy clothes.

I just got back from Dr. Tom's office for my 6 month check up and everything was great. All of my labs came back good. By their scale I have lost 82 lbs. Dr. Tom showed me a picture of when I first came in and I cried. I knew that I was fat but come on I looked horrible. I can't believe I used to be like that. I am so happy with my choise to have the surgery. I WILL NEVER BE LIKE THAT AGAIN. I just want to workout even harder and eat better.

It has been a while since I have been on here but as of this morning I have lost a total of 101 lbs! I can't believe it. In 7 months I have mad it to my Doctors goal just a few more until my goal.
12/9/06 I just got back from ordering my bridesmaid dress for my best friends wedding and I ordered a size 4 top and size 8 bottom. I can't believe it; I don't think I have ever been this size....I am loving it.

Can you believe it! I made it to my goal weight! It has been a long 10 months from were I started at 248lbs but I have made it to MY GOAL!
I can't believe how my I have changed in the last year.
This year goal is to maintain my weight and to workout more offten.
I love to go shopping now. I can walk into any store and buy pretty much anything I want. Just about everything fits.
I can say now that I LOVE MY LIFE!

I went to resize my wedding bands yesterday and I had to order a size 5 1/2. The lady that worked there wanted me to order a 5 but I was afraid with the summer comming up my hands would swell like the do every summer so I ordered a 5 1/2. When my husband and I got married I had a size 8 ring.
I can't believe how my whole body has changed. My Dad was telling me the other day that he thought my whole out look on life and my attitude has changed so much; I am a new person. This is the best thing I ever did for myself.
My BMI is now 27.6

Well today was a good day. This past Saturday I finialy got my tattoo that I have wanted for about 2 years now.
My father has been looking into getting Gastric Bypass Surgery as well and he is just starting all of his classes.

Well it has been a while; I havn't been on here in a while but I am down to 115 lbs. That means I have lost a total of 133 lbs since my surgery. I can't believe how much I have changed over the last year. I got the ok from my surgen to get prenant if we want to start trying. I think we will wait until we get back from vacation.
I can't believe the diffrence in my life. I LOVE EVERYTHING about it.
I love my husband and my little girl for standing by me when I wasn't the happiest person in the world. I love you baby!

Ok I was just going thru some old pictures from my wedding day and I can't believe the change in my body and mind. It makes me sad that; one of my happest moments in life and I wasn't happy w myself. I told my husband the other day we need to have another wedding and a honeymoon. I can't believe these pictures are me. I can't change the past but I am trying everything in the world to change the future.

Today was a big day for me...For the first time In my life I was able to walk a 5 mile MS event. I have never been able to walk a few steps with out huffing and puffing...It felt great to walk faster then my husband and not be out of breath.
Today has been a great day!
