You are about to embark on the most amazing transformation of you mind, body and soul. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Sending Prayers your way that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands. May the guardian angels wrap their loving arms of protection around you during your surgery and recovery . Hi Tonya! I just wanted to give you best wishes for your upcoming consultation for wls. There is so much to learn about this and you have done the most important thing in taking that first step for a healthier you. I have not had surgery yet, I'm finishing up the 6 month BC/BS diet requirement, etc. and hope to get approved soon. I am also kind of new here too~~~this site is so AWESOME and everyone is wonderful. There is so much information on the boards, plus the profiles are so great to read everyones' personal stories. (I still need to put one together, because I have been helped so much by all the others and know it will help me too.) Just keep us posted on what's going on with you, there's always someone that can answer your questions and lend you support. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I have scheduled an appointment for Oct. 27 to find out more info about WLS. I'm anxious to get this ball rolling. I'm so tired of this weight baggage and just not feeling well.
