Jimmy, How exciting to know you are this close!! I am happy for you, I have always enjoyed reading your posts... Hang in there.. I know the wait seems very long. I was approved and went for my pre-op and they still came up with another test for me to do! It will happen.. Keep us posted. Blessings, Pam

Hey Jimmy, Here's hoping for a fast approval! You got all the testing over with and now you just have to be patient!!!!! Sometimes that's the hardest part but no since in worrying about what you have no control over. Let us know when you get the big news!!! Your time's ALMOST here man!!!! WOOOHOOO! Tamara

Jimmy, Welcome to the Message Boards! It’s great to see more guys out here. We make up such a small minority of the people getting WLS but tend to do better than the gals when it comes to reaching goal weights with less hassle due to male physiology. I hope you get all of the support, info, shared experiences and inspiration that this site has to offer. If you haven’t already, drop by the Men’s Message Board Forum to talk with other husbands just like you who are either working towards having the surgery or who have already had it and are growing toward a life better than they ever thought possible! It is great to know that there are others that really “know where you’re coming from,” and that they are pulling for your success. Just a huge crowd of strangers out here with a shared experience.
