Gastric Bypass Surgery 2001
Mar 19, 2010
Hello All. My name is Heidy and I had my surgery in 2001. Originally my weight was 300 lbs and I lost 170Lbs in just a year. I've had several surgeries due to the gastric bypass but can tell you taht no matter what pain, or problems faced I would do it all over again.
I am presently weighing 145lbs and ahve been able to maintain this weight eating properly. I know several people that have had this surgery and they are already weighing about the same as before. I had a panicolectomy (mini tummy tuck) and have not done any more work on myself. I plan on a breast augmentation, a full body lift.
Do not feel discouraged just keep a mind set that you are doing this so that you can live a good healthy wonderful life and be able to spend as much time with your children, family and friends.
To be honest with you all what has really given me the inspiration to never turn back is carrying a picture of myself weighing 300 lbs in my wallet and if i am tempted all I have to do is look at it and remind me why I made this sacrifice.
If anyone has any questions feel free to PM.
Good Luck To All,
Heidy
