Hi all! My name is Dee and I am a 42 year old mom, newlywed wife, LPN, sister, Recreational Assistant, daughter, friend, aunt & obese female. I am looking to lose the last descriptive title to be a healthier and happier one of all the others! It has been a long slow road of weight gainage (with some side roads with temporary losses) to get to where I am now...and I am now, very much looking forward to the journey back down the path. I tried many of the conventional ways to lose weight, with some success, but it never lasted. And now I am at the place along this road of my life where I am not being able to do the things I want to anymore because of my weight and the pain my body is in because of the weight. It took me a long time to decide on WLS and now that I have begun the process I am sure I have made the right decision for me. (current weight 395.4lbs)
