Heather, YOU GO GIRL!! Having young boys flirt with you is one of the many benefits of having this surgery. Enjoy it!

Hi Heather, I read your post about who can eat sweets, candy, cakes, etc. I had wls on 12/6/02 and I can eat sweets of all kinds, I remember eating valentine choc candy, and you know how sweet that is. But then I also remember having my first dumping and it was off my Flintstone vitamins. So you don't know what will trigger it off. So I still stay away from it. but only will taste a piece of cake or what ever at a party or outing. I thought I would crave for things like that but I don't, also I don't buy or bring in into the house. so there won't be no temptations. I don't even buy juices no more. my main drink is water. or cystal lite. It still scares me to at times I always think the dumping will show it's ugly head at a time I lease expect it. LOL so I use caution all the time. Take care and the best to you on your wl journey. Take care hon~*~Hugs~*~

Heather - I'm glad you went to the ER and didn't wait any longer. I'm also glad you are doing better. That was scary. Thank you for sharing the valuable information that your doctor learned in the conference. Take care of yourself!

Heather, I totally know how you feel with the cellulitis only mine is in my leg. But the chills they just take over your whole body!!! I'm glad you went to the ER and got some treatment. Would you believe Levaquin doesn't work for me...I'm scared I've build up resistance to many strong antibiotics. Hope you're feeling back to your normal post-op self real soon!

Hi Heather, just wanted to thank you for replying to my post.(Pcp didn't want to clear me), I lost my mind and started acting like a MADWOMAN when I got the phonecall. So, I relied on my family here at AMOS to help me out, and you guys did. You were right I do not need HIS clearance, and everything is a go for Monday. Surgeon said just come on in as scheduled.... Now, on to you... Congratulations on your weight loss, keep up the good work, AND I have to say I am really FEELING your page, It is so NICE. You and your daughter look great.

Hi, Heather: I'm a former hairstylist, had to quit because of foot problems, arthritis in feet and back also. Honey, I know what you go through! Don't you dare beat yourself up for not going back after 2 weeks. People don't realize what a physically demanding job hairstyling is. Yes, I intend to go back to work after 2 weeks, but I now have a desk job where I don't have to walk or stand or lift anything...Basically I sit and type all day (much like now...) It's people like me who are able to go back to work sooner...If I was still doing hair, you can believe I'd be off 6 weeks! Anyway, just wanted to offer encouragement from someone who's "been there, done that" and congratulations on your progress! Good luck on the rest of your journey!

HEATHER~~ Some people have more problems eating than others~~ I had problems for over 3 months.... You might call your surgeon, though, just to make sure that it's not something more serious~~~~ May Each New Day Find You Feeling Better....There are so many people thinking nice thoughts about you and wishing you a quick, easy recovery......~~EVERYDAY WILL GET BETTER AND BETTER~~ --
