i was first seen at the doctor's office on Jan 8Th 2009 and was told that it would probably be late April before having surgery because of the high demand. I had my first surgeon appointment on Jan 21st 2009 and after that i just had to wait for all my insurance to be approved. so now it is the waiting time. I called the second week in Feb. to see if they heard anything from the insurance company. i called on a Wednesday and left a message. The office called me back and stated that they had just faxed the information to the insurance company that day (Thursday) and stated that it normally takes 5 days to 2 months to get approval from the insurance company. Friday morning came and i was at work and around 4pm the office called me back to tell me that it was approved. It only took 24 hours to have the insurance approval! Praise Jesus!
So now it is my pre op stuff that i have to get out of the way. I got most of that done on a day off I had the following week. I was really getting excited. But the office still was saying it would be probably the last Friday in March. Then the office called me on a Monday and stated that She could get me in next Friday. I was so excited but instead became a little scared.
So I had my EGD done on a Monday Feb 23 2009 and I was in surgery Friday Feb 27Th 2009. GOD IS SO GOOD!
I had prayed at the beginning and even just before the surgery that this process would be expedited because i really needed the surgery done and my new life to start. MY GOD IS A FAST GOOD.
