Hello,

Thought I'd post an update today. I am still doing well. I'd like to be losing quicker than I am but know I've come a long ways also. Today is my first fill and I am looking forward to it! To date, since mid February, I have now lost 53 pounds!! 31 of those pounds are since my surgery day, which was April 7th! I guess that is really good. It is just that the past 3 weeks or so it has really seemed to slow.

Hi everyone!!

I am now 11 days post surgery!  I am doing very well. During surgery, they found a large tumor that is attached to my liver. The surgeon believes it is benign and took a picture of it for me. He must think it is ok, they aren't doing a CT until May 30th (my first fill), to wait for all the swelling to go down. I am not concerned either.
I am doing well. I have been walking the 30+ minutes per day on my treadmill since the day after, once home from the hospital. My post-op this past Friday went well.
Today is my first day back at work and it feels great to be back and have my routine back. I am also in college and returned 4 days post surgery with that. My biggest complaint so far is the extreme dry mouth that I never had before.
As a single parent, my kids have been awesome! They have been helping much more since I am unable to lift. In 8 days from surgery to post-op, I shed 13 pounds!!  I am happy so far!
