october 3,2002 i'am now offically 5 months post op and have lost a total of almost 100 pounds....i'am feeling better but still get sick and vomit alot still....but wouldn't change anything i did as far as having my surgery........i know it's been a while but i wana thank my girl melinda for posting for me...melinda come or high water your gonna have your surgery day..i promise..thanks for being such a good friend and thanks to you all who sent me well wishes and kind words............will update again soon on how i'am feeling..........love ya's deanna

I am having surgery on Monday 05/13, do you have any advice on how to ward off this nervousness that seems to be creeping in all of a sudden? Hope you're doing well in your recooperation. Thanks, Mercedes Blake

Spoke w/ Deanna's DH this afternoon Deanna thought she might get to come home, but she was running a fever last night so they were going to keep her today. You hang in there kiddo. Hugs!!!!

Hey gang just got off the phone with Deanna she was a little dopey but she was doing well, had a fever last night, but was up walking today, hoping to come home on sunday. She sends all her love and will be back as soon as she can. So stop by and show you care and keep her in your prayers. Congrats kiddo we love you.
