Today after a slow process the last few months I finally did it! I now weigh 199.8!! Yes, under 200lbs! I have not been this weight since I was a teenager. Surgery to remove lots and lots of skin is the summer. What an amazing feeling. I am so glad that I had WLS. It has changed my life in so many positive ways!

I am now 206. My next goal is 199! Then 190. Once at 190 I will keep on doing what I can to be healthy and follow my plan. My long term goal before the journey was 180. But after talking to several docs and being told I have 30 or more pounds of skin that must be removed by surgery.. 190 sounds really good!

I did it yesterday! I hit 211. That is the lowest weight  I have ever been as an adult and probally my later teen years!! I am thrilled!!!

Well Today I weigh 215 lbs. The smallest I can remember being as an adult was nearly 8 years ago and I was 211. That was after I lost 150 pounds in order to get pregnant. Of course I gained it all back with pregnancy and the first year of being a mom. I went on to lost 120 pounds again. Had another baby and gained it all back during post partum depression. That is what led me to my choice to have the Gastric Sleeve.

I am so happy I made this choice. My life has truly been changed. I know that this is a lifetime journey. I am so happy to have the tool of my pouch to help me along. I saw my weight loss sugeon today. I only have about 45 pounds of fat left to lose. My goal during all of this was to be at 180lbs. So if I lose 45 more pounds of fat I will be beyond that goal. It looks like in either Dec or Jan. I will be having the panni removed. It will hopefully be more than just the panni but we shall see! I can not image living without this huge flap of skin sitting in my lap.

I am just a little over 1 year out from my VSG. It has been a real learning experience to say the least. I am rarely hungry. But the dreaded head hunger has been here for a few months. I stumbled into a horrible depression and anxiety battle. During that time time lasting for about 2 1/2 months I would lose 10 and gain it back. I got myself back into therapy and back on track. Learning to live my life without turing to food for my comfort has been a challange! I am a person that loved to and still does to some extent eat, when I am happy, sad, mad, hurt, tired you name it!

I am doing really good now. I have lost 140 pounds and in a losing mode at this time. I was 366 when I started this journey. I am 227-231 right now. My personal goal is 180. I have massive amounts of skin. I will need surgery on my thighs, pannus. and arms. The skin is giving me some problems but I have a ways to go before surgery can even be thought about.

I am so thankful I was able to have this surgery. I would do it all over again!

Finally I am under the 300 mark! Best thing is..  I know I will never be there again!!

So my surgery is 3 days away now. I am still on liquids of course. I have lost 13lbs so far on liquids and 24lbs total.

I did it! I finished the first week of liquids. It was hard, very hard. The physical part was bad, but the mental part was worse. But, here I am. I didn't cheat! I can do this! I am rdy for this surgery! I am ready for my life to be healthier!

So, here I am. Sipping my dinner. I have a horrible headache. And earlier I was doubled over from actual stomach pain when I drank my lunch. I know its all worth it, but wow these first days are gonna be hard. I didn't make it to the gym today because I had to wait for the AC guy and by the time I could go I felt so horrible. I will be there in the morning though!!

I finally have my date!! Aug 9th!! I am super excited!! Also I have lost some more weight. Down from 366 to 350!
