How do I decorate my PAGE?

How can I make my page all fancy? I can't get a picture to load to my profile, only to my photos. Every photo, I try to add, they say it is to big, and I don't know how to fix that. If anyone has any advice, that would be great!!God Bless for now--

I just got the call, and tri-care gave the okay, for the surgery!! That was my last tedious obstacle, in this whole process to be completed, so now the real nervousness, and fear set in, because it is really goning to happen now for me!!
