Well, I have lost 104 pounds as of this week. my BMI is about 41 and I have about 40-60 more pounds to lose in total. Life is good.

I just added some new photos. They are ones I took in February, and I had lost 86 pounds at that time. I am now down 93 pounds, and have about 60-80 more to lose. So I am more than halfway to my goal weight. I was told that I would have to have about 25 pounds of skin and fat removed when I have plastics, and the surgeon said that I should also lose another 25 pounds after plastics are done as well. I will need at least 3 procedures. I will have a lower body lift, with mons, belly and outer thighs as well as butt lifted in a circumfirential procedure. Then I will have a second surgeyr dater, with my inner thighs lifted, and my arms done. I don't want my breasts done at this point, but who knows. i know I don't want implants...I will be happy to be flat chested if necessary!

So, this means that if I get to 200, have plastics, lose the 25 pounds of skin there, and then lose another 25 after, I can get down to 150! I never really thought I could do that. But it looks doable at this point.

I am down a few more pounds, making a total of 84 pounds lost now! I am at 256. It has been a very long time since I have been this small. I am busy studying for the bar exam, so am exhausted. I will post a new avatar soon. Even after a plateau for a month, I surge forward like this. Amazing how wonderful this surgery is.

I have a very new C PAP machine for sale. I will not charge you too much for it. It has a smart card and all, and will need to be programmed by  a professional for your use. I only used it 3 times, and only had mild sleep apnea. You will also need to get your own mask. It has a humidifier as well. If you are interest, I will send you the model number etc. Thanks!

It is January 1, 2007. I just returned from a 17 day trip to Europe. I could never have done it before this surgery. I have, as of today, lost 80 pounds. My BMI is now 46.1.  I have 60 more to lose to reach my goal of 200 pounds, 80 more to reach 180. I just graduated from law school in December, and will take the bar exam in February. My partner, Sherry, and I will be married in a ceremony in May. My life is full of happiness and the potential of everything. I am very happy.

It has been 5 months since my open RNY, and I have lost 66 pounds! I have been so blessed by this process,and am doing great. I had a seroma after surgery, but it was mostly annoying and not anything else. It sort of exploded while I was sleeping, and I woke to a wet bed! Good thing my doc warned me about this. He said, even if it broke open and spilled a lot of fluid, it was nothing to worry about. My incision has healed fully, and there are no signs of hernia yet.
