02/01/05 Hello Jan...How are you tonight??.I've been looking for someone in my area to talk to about bariatric surgery, and I think it is you .My name is Debbie Reeves, I live at Enterprise just southeast of Brookhaven. Well the story is ! I too am planing to have grastic bypass. I've had five of my test done and waiting to hear from my Dr. on what I need to do next. I don't think I am very far from getting a surgery date......... or at least i hope I am not.........lol. Jan I do wish you the best and hopefully you will have a date soon. Hi Jan! Welcome to the AMOS site! I'm so glad you found us and I hope you are learning a lot about the surgeries. We are like a family here. We're here to support each other, lend an ear and not judge. Many people are here to help you along the way. Don't be afraid to ask! We are all in different phases of our weight loss and can offer you many different opinions. Check out the site as it has so much information. You've made a wise choice joining AMOS and wanting to have WLS. You deserve to have a better quality of life. So, be diligent, do your research and decide what's right for you.
