Sandra: So sorry to hear what you're going through. Insurance stuff is so, so complicated, and it's just crazy right now! I don't know where Bainbridge is, or if you're close to Pittsburgh, but there are a lot of good surgeons in this area. My son is on medical assistance (it's through UPMC Best Health), and he has been approved. I don't know if this is the same as your insurance or not. Keep looking and don't give up!

Sandra - I can't imagine walking a mile either. I walk one block with my 16 month old daughter and I am ready to call it quits. One of things I am looking forward to is being able to walk more. God willing we will both get there! :0) Good luck on your journey to find a surgeon. I hope everything goes well for you.
