Well it has finally come.  For ten years I have been wanting this surgery.  The Lord blessed me with a job that has insurance coverage for the bariatric surgery and I have gotten approval.  My surgery date is 2/28/2013 and I cannot wait.  Of all the things that can go wrong the most thing I am worried about is the removal of the drainage bag.  I feel like that will hurt so bad.  That is the one thing I am scared of.  Any words on that for those of you who been there and done that?  Other than that bag lol, I am ready.  I have been a big girl for my entire life, so this will be truly new beginnings for me.  I wont have to worry about not fitting in a seat at the doctors office, at the movies, or even on the airplane.  I will no longer have to look for "hip friendly" seating lol.  If you had the surgery and are well on your way, I encourage you to leave me some advice and I would love to know about your recovery process.
