"Dr. Perez was very knowledgable about the plastic surgery, but kept trying to just give me a "panni" verses an abdominoplasty, only did just enough (exactly what the insurance paid for) seems to me he could have went a little further in doing a little lipo so as to insure a nice contour, I went in with an hourglass figure even though I had a stomach that hung, I came out looking like a box with "dog ears". I am in the process of going overseas now to have them "correct" what he left behind, the dog ears and body contouring to get my hourglass wasteline back. I would NOT recommend this dr at all. I was very dissatified with his work. He thought I should "just be happy" not to have the hanging stomach but he left me with a very fat upper stomach. I have seen people come out of these kinds of procedures with the haning stomach gone in addition to no dog ears, and some of the fat removed so as to have a nice looking abdomin. "
"The first time I met Dr. Hall was 2 days before I was to have my surgery. I thought he was a very nice Dr. However, he kind of put me off because he was so insistant on giving me a VBG, this is the kind of gastric bypass surgery that he feels is best. However, I was very much set on the RNY. He did all of the standard tests and my cardiology test came back saying that I had some kind of heart attack that I did not know about. So after flying from Kansas City to Lubbock Tx I had to fly back home and see a heart specialist to see what the problem was. He did a battery of tests on me and told me that I had a very strong and healthy heart and had no signs of EVER having a heart attack. So 3 wks later I flew back to Lubbock TX and had the RNY. However, being told that one has had a heart attack that they never knew about was very scary and upsetting for me. Dr. Hall did a fine job on me, but I think the scar he made could hve been MUCH smaller."
