Well, I am just 25 days post op and doing very well. I am down about 40 pounds, 2 pants/dress sizes. I have lost nearly 5 inches in my waist! I am feeling so much better than in the beginning, I am struggling a little with me protein intake but I am working on that. I wanted to thank again those kind folks who have posted to me. You all are great and made me feel so much more at ease about the surgery. Thank you all very much! Lee L.

Hi Lee, when you read this you will have already started your journey.. I also hope to one day be in your shoes... no date yet.. but working on it.. you take care of yourself and have a speedy recovery.. God Bless..

Lee, I sure hope all goes well for you. I know how excited you must feel. I have fibromyalgia as well and am hoping that weight loss will help me. Lets keep our fingers crossed. See you on the losing side!!

Hi there. Lee again. Well, I got my time for surgery. I go under at 615 AM on Tuesday. I am thrilled and a little nervous, but otherwise good to go. Met with the Anesthesiologist and he said that I will get a Morphine Epidural so that I will feel no pain at all while I am in the hospital and explained how everything will go. I feel SO much better after having spoken to him. I just feel so positive about this surgery and I know that I will benefit so much from it and so will my family. I will be able to give of myself so much more when I am healthy. I know that I have just met you all, but I want to thank each and everyone of you that have posted to my "page". I am sorry I do not have pictures yet but I will post as soon as I can. Good luck to those of you who are getting the OP soon, and good luck to those who are still awaiting it. Hugz, Lee L.

***** Lee Congratulations on your Upcoming Surgery*****I will also be starting my new life in March. we have made the right choice in our lives we are on our way to a beautiful new life we will be healthy and Skinny "LOL" wishing you to be well on your Journey and again Congratulations all is wonderful.

Thank you all for your words of encouragement and your kindness. I am very excited about the changes that are going to happen in my life and eager to have that "rebirth" as my WLS friends call it. I have 2 wks and 2 days until the surgery and I am both anxious and elated. Such a mix of emotions, I never expected to feel the way I do now that I have a date. It has been such a long time in coming. I need to post some pics of myself and I will do so as soon as I have the chance, maybe in the next couple of days...I need to before the surgery so I can share before and afters with you all. You are about to embark on the most amazing transformation of you mind, body and soul. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Sending Prayers your way that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands. May the guardian angels wrap their loving arms of protection around you during your surgery and recovery . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side.
