Dr office called today and left a message. Didnt get it cause my voicemail was down. was just able to get it at 12:32 pm, and they are at lunch now. But the message was a Surgery date of Sept 29th. I so cant wait for this surgery to get done and be like a normal person and be happy. been riding my bike the last few days with the neice and nephews (boy does my butt hurt from the seat). been fun. kids ages are 3,3,and 2 and they love riding their bikes with me, and i know its good excerise for me.  been eating they way i should. get teased once and a while. Hubby like candy corn and its all over the stores right now. he munches on it here and there. More at night time, I look at him and go,"must be nice, im going to have a popcicle now( yes Sugar free).  I cant wait now!~

FINALLY got yhe news ive been waiting for. Insurance letter came and was approved. only thing now is that the Dr that i had is no longer doing the surgery. so I have an appt on the 4th to see the new dr and then to set the surgery this month. I SOOOOOOO CANT WAIT! Kinda waiting for a phone call now from the nurse to set up the surgery. hopefully they call today. Wish me luck, Shannon

seems like everytime I call that office it takes 2 weeks for them to get back to me. Well they finally got back to me and now all im waiting for is my Insurance letter to get here.  Im hoping that it gets here pretty fast and then i will have my date. I really wanna get this done this summer and then back to work in sept. Waiting, hoping, PRAYING! Shannon

well, called the Dr office today and they FINALLY have my cardic clearance letter. so now i just need to have the letter sent to the insurance company and get a date. In my head July is out of the question, so now its August or even Sept. If its sept I need to take time off from work and thats not making me happy. Anyways, lets hope and keep my fingers crossed and get this done in August.

So, called the dr office today and the person that sends out the letters is not in the office this week. So, i have no clue if my cardic letter has made it and if the insurance paper has gone out. Then I find out last night that the Dr is leaving, not to return in August. This is soooooo not making me happy. I want this DONE this summer while im off work and so far all i feel that im getting is a runaround! if the dr leaves , then i have to see another dr in the office and hope that he can fit me in to do the surgery. looks to me, i will be taking some time off in september. This is soo not good. Ive gone through all there hoops that they want and im the one getting the raw end of the deal. Hope this gets better SOON and Fast.

So, Dr office called yesterday and told me that i need a cardic clearance for the surgery. Its not really for the office, its for the insurance. this is just my luck. Dr says that i can have the surgery in July and they still have to send my letter out and get the date. Does anyone know how long that might take. I really wanted to get this done SOON. just so i can have the summer months to get use to everything and then back to work in Sept. with a new group of kids. Have to call PCP's office back and see if they can do the Cardic part today and get that done and send the letter. will update later and let ya's know whats next.

Im sitting here at work. Kids are coloring some coloring sheets before lunch. thinking that this year just needs to end and July needs to get here. wondering how long the insurance company is going to take before i know for sure. i know that im doing the right thing by having this done. i need to find me and the skinny me that is somewhere fighting to get out. finding that this is just hard to do and finding that this is the only place that i can talk to about everything going on and the changes that are about to take place and the changes that im going to make to me. I really cant wait. But im starting to get a little more nerves about this. just have to keep thinking, THIS IS FOR THE BEST IN ME! im tired of being fat.

Saw the Dr on Friday 5\7\10 and we are planning to have the surgery in July. This way I dont have to take any time off from work and can rest for the summer. Just have to wait for the insurance to send the letter with the date on it.
