First Fill!!

I got my first fill today. Doc says things look great. I was ready because I have had no restriction for about 2 weeks. Could eat almost anything with no problem. Have another fill set for 2 days before Thanksgiving. Weight loss is 28 pounds from my highest weight.
2 Weeks and going good!

I am 2 weeks out from surgery and I am healing up very well. I am now looking forward to my first fill. That is coming up in Oct.

I had the band on the Sept 10th. Things are going well. I am on to recovery and using this band!
Pre Op Diet

Well, I am in day 6 of the pre op liquid diet. I am not much of a sweets guy so the jello is getting very old. My surgery is on Monday so it will be here before I know it.
I am APPROVED!!

I got the call this morning and I am APPROVED!! Probably will have to wait for a couple of months for the surgery, but after this whole insurance thing it will be worth the wait.
Aetna denied.

I started this process in Jan. First try was a denial. They have now had the appeal for 2 weeks. This time I sent them everything possible. They had tons of paperwork. They should have no excuses, but from reading other posts Aetna is tough. I hope start keeping everybody up to date as I go further.
