I am going to keep this brief. I was banded 6-16-2006 by Dr Li in Baltimore. I weighed 275 pounds. I wore a size 22 bottom and a 3x top.
To date I have lost 26 pounds..... I am 249#
I work out 3 time a week with a personal trainer for an hour. I add 2 days a week of cardio for 1 hour as well.
I am so grateful for the posts at OH-- It has gotten me through some tough times.
10-16-2006---I am scheduled to go to the gym today at 3pm--- I am working on my next mini goal of getting out of the 240's--- by Thanksgiving... Starting in 5-4-3-2-1....
10-18-2006-- I feel like Iate too many carbs today--- I hate when I do that because my weight goes up immediately. Oh well,, tomorrow is another day-- I will try to stay on track tomorrow. until then
10-19-2006-- Well today is another day--- and i did very good with my eating--- I had 2 slices of bacon and 2 scrambled eggs with cheese-- for lunch i ate 1/2 cup chicken salad on cucmber wedges and for dinner i at about 4 oz of salmon and a baked sweet potato slice--- I also bought me a 2500.00 treadmill for my home to go along with the other equipment--- It is about to get cold and I really want to keep running-- I have a very good elliptical machine-- but i so much prefer the treadmill. I will do about 15min of elliptical AFTER I do 30 min on the treadmill-- (3.0 speed --incline of 12)--- I plan to bust out this summer in something SKIMPY----- BUT CLASSY!!!! Until tomorrow!!
10-22-06--- Down 2 pounds from last Sunday-- That is a mazing because I really struggled to stay away from a lot of carbs this week-- I have had cake a couple of time s this week, macaroni and cheese, potatoe chips-- But I did have them in moderation--- I was looking at my calendar and the goal I had set for my self 2 months ago say I should be 243--I am only 4 pounds away from that-- Thats not bad!! I am 247!!! I have not been this small in atleast 4 years!!! I love my band-- ALthough it frustrates me because when i sit down to eat my mind is saying go -- but my band says no or slow down or chew or stop!! I really needed this tool. Thank god for it. Until later
10-23-2006---I went to the Gym and had a really good work out-- My trainer ( MArcus) says that he is going to be leaving eventually-- I dont know what i am going to do because he is really helping me see results.. I ate wonderfully today--- except i ate too much a t dinnr--- I had about 3 bites left on my plate and tried to ease them in and I PB'd--- Oh well liquid for me for 24 hours-- until tomorrow.
11-18-2006-- Update...........Marcus left right after that last post..... My TOM came, weight bouncing all over the place....................But the scale did land on 246 today...................... This is mostyly because I got with a new Trainer ... Terrance and he is awesome.. Funny , but when I train , I am more concious of what i eat... until later.
