A little about me~

Thanks for stopping by. I hope this little introduction makes you feel like you know me.
I just turned 39 in October and I am hoping like heck by my 40th birthday that my life will be in full swing again!! I have had several different jobs in my life-time.....grocery clerk, title and escrow secretary, optometric assistant, day care provider, the ohhh so ever glamorous job of house keeping, and currently I am a nail tech. I cleaned houses for 10 years while our son went from pre-school to Jr. High. I decided I had had enough of that glamorous job and went back at the age of 35 to get my manicurist license. I built a clientele working in another nail salon in our town and just recently added on to our house and have a home nail salon. 4th Street NailZ (i live on 4th Street...pretty creative aren't I? LOL )if you are in the area, give me a call....I give a great pedicure and do some pretty neat nails too! I have been married to my husband for 18 1/2 years... he is a wonderful husband! I finally got him trained..8-) JUST KIDDING He works for a local mill (and thanks to his insurance life is going to become more active soon!) He is also a volunteer firefighter and assistant chief of the company here in our town. We have a 17 (OMG did I just say 17...where the heck did time go?) year old son. Yes, he is an only child....and loves it "most" of the time! He plays football, baseball, basketball, and runs track. That exhaust me just saying it...lol He works at Burger King in his "spare-time"...ONE DAY A WEEK. Ummmm what else can I tell you~ I am an only child also. My parents live about 12 blocks from us and we are very close to them. They have been married for almost 40 years. My mom and I are best-friends! I think that just about covers it. I wish you all MUCH SUCCESS IN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY AND I CAN'T WAIT TO JOIN YOU ON THE LOSERS BENCH!

1-6-2007 I want to tell Tanya THANK YOU for taking the time to talk to me on the phone today! It feels so good to have someone that is starting there journey and sharing there personal experiences with me. We share the same Private insurance company and stipulations are up to them. Excitement and Nerves all rolled into one

Why will this be any different than anything I have ever done before? Will I be the only patient to have the surgery and not lose weight? There are so many things running though my mind. I have talked to people that say they didn't have these feelings. I can't wait to start the 1st day of the rest of my life but as I sit here and say that I have butterflies. Am I normal?
