Mine is the classic story of struggling with weight my entire life. I look back at pictures of me as a small child with my chubby cheeks and round belly. Adorable when you're three, but not so much when you're 34.
I've been researching WLS for over 5 years now, and I'm finally able to have my dream of being healthier and thinner a reality. My husband and I had our consultation on January 24, 2008 at Barix Clinic in Groveport Ohio. We are currently in the process of going through a 12 week behavior modification program required by our insurance. I'm so thankful that we have each other to share all the ups and downs of this process with. I couldn't do it without him.
Life is great, and it's only getting better!
