WRITE AN APPEAL LETTER TO THE COMMISSIONER, BEFORE YOU USE UP THAT LAST APPEAL TO CIGNA. MAKE SURE TO GET YOURSELF ON A MANAGED, DOCUMENTED WL PROGRAM THROUGH YOUR PCP, WITH AT LEAST 2 NUTRITION VISITS, FOR 6 MONTHS ASAP. GOOD LUCK AND KEEP FOCUSED!!!!!!!PEACE

this is not to discourage but to encourage... I have Cigna and was approved two weeks ago thru my human resources department of my company. I was turned down twice. Now I also know another lady who was approved last week with Cigna thru Cigna! So you must keep on keeping on. Do not be disheartened. It happens. I resently got a date for surgery, November 4th. This was so excitng after waiting over a year. My carrier is Cigna and I was advised on Friday I was turned down after my first try. This is so upsetting. I have heard they are the worst for approvals. The doctors office said they will help me fight it.If anyone has had any similar experiennces with Cigna and has any advice please Email me [email protected]. THANKS!?
