What a dummy I am! I was just scanning my profile and for some unknown reason I posted that I had VGB. Not! I had RNY. I don't even know what VGB is. Sorry about that.
Still feeling wonderful. Go to my PCP this Wednesday. Hope to be down 30 pounds by then.

It's been about 2 and 1/2 weeks and I'm still feeling fantastic. No problems at all. I'm walking the tredmill about 30 minutes a day. I went to the doctor last week and being I was doing so good she skipped the pureed foods and went to the soft food phase. I got the Whey Protien Drink and drink 3 of them a day ( With milk. Water was terrible ) and then I get 60 protien in, no problem plus 24 protien for the milk I use. 84 protien isn't bad, eh?So far I've lost 26 pounds. Got into some jeans I hadn't gotten in for years!!

Well, it's been 1 week already and I feel wonderful. No pain whatsoever. I have one more week of fluids and then go for my first app. So far I have lost 17 pounds. I'm only going to get weighed once a week. My sugar has dropped dramatically. It's like 112. I'll take it!! My husband has been feeling guilty for eating in front of me but I keep telling him it doesn't bother me in the least. I so happy to be on the losers side and thanks so much for all the prayers and good wishes. I'm on my way, baby!!!!!!!!!!!!Missy
Home At Last!!!

Well, it's Tuesday, the 22nd and I came home yesterday and I feel absolutly fantastic. I have no nausea or hardly any pain at all. They thought I might have had a leak but it turned out to be nothing. It was a staple line that they were seeing on the CT scan but I had to stay 2 extra days and have 3 upper- G-I's and 3 of those CT Scans. I swear that was ALMOST AS BAD AS THE SURGERY. YA KNOW, DRINKING THAT LOVELY CLEAR LIQUID. Anyway, the surgery went off without a hitch and I hardly ever had to use my pain pump.
So far in 5 days I have lost 13 pounds. YIPEE!
I seem to have more energy already. It seems impossible. If this is any indication of how my future is going to be then I"m on the ride of my life.
I will post later. Thanks to everybody for the thoughts and prayers. THEY WORKED!!!!!

Well, 18 hours to go. My surgery will be at 10:30. I will update when I get home. A special thanks to my friends who have posted " good luck " messages to me. It means alot.

Almost there. Well, I only have a few days to wait until my surgery. I'm excited but a bit nervous. I have my suitcase packed. Probably over packed but what the heck.
I will try to update when I get back home. I tried to get my vitamins today as well as the Whey at GNC. I tried the banana and it wasn't to bad. I will take it 3 times a day to get 60 protein in. That's not to bad. It tasted pretty good.
Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

Well, time is slowly ticking toward the big day. I just can't believe that 2 weeks from tonight it will be all over ( the surgery ) and my new life will start.Yesterday I went to the hospital for a physical, chest exray, and some blood work. All was good even though they had to stick me 6 times in order to get blood. Guess I was dehydrated a bit.
My dear hubby took me to Red Lobster for my last " big meal " and honest to God I thought I died and went to heaven it was so good. I had a big fat lobster.
I will post later as my surgery date draws closer. I'm trying to make a list of everything to take. Maybe some of you can give me some tips.
I have read that allot of people take to much and don't really use it.

After 13 long days I've finally been approved. I will get a surgery date in a few days. I seem to be on a rollercoaster right now as far as my brain goes. So much to think about.I will post again when I get the surgery date.Hope to be on the losers bench soon!!!!!

It's been a week today and still no phone call from the insurance company. It makes me nervous and you can imagine what I do when I'm nervous--------------Yup, EAT!!!Check back in a few days hopefully with some good news
