Looked at the follow-up requests my insurance is doing with Anthem Blue Cross regarding the fees for my surgery. Office visits were about $32,000 and the surgery itself was $72,000. The whole thing comes to over $104,000! No wonder Anthem is looking this thing over. I'm happy for the surgery but you begin to wonder about the cost of health care with bills like these.
