"I liked Dr. Barker from my 1st encounter with him. I believe he is an excellent surgeon with a caring and informed staff. I would caution anyone going to him that he is VERY busy and he concentrates on seeing people PRE-op. I have actually not seen him since my surgery. On my follow up visits, I have seen his internist, whom I love! I don't feel slighted in the least that Dr. Barker has handed me over to his internist.rnrnThere is a written post op plan. I have had 2 appointments with the staff at Nova, the bariatric program at Vista Hospital, where I had my surgery. I assume the plan was developed by Dr Barker and the Nova staff. rnrnI have always felt like Dr Barker's staff is available to answer any questions I have. I just haven't had any problems, so it hasn't been necessary to call upon them.rnrnI would highly recommend Dr. Barker to anyone considering WLS."
