I still have not reached my goal.

I had my first surgery September 2007.  I knew how to work that lap band. Four years later, no where close to what my goal was.  Die to health issues, the band was removed and then dr did the sleeve.

Should have done that one first ... still not at my goal but I will get there.

How is your journey going?

It's been 9 years since I had my first surgery,  lap band. I was 247 pounds. 

I knew how to manipulate the band. I was told in 2011 that I had to have it removed. Acid reflux had gotten worse.

I choose the sleeve. I dropped to 160, currently I'm at 168.

It's such a struggle when I love to eat. Wish I loved going to the gym the same way.
