I'm still here!
Oct 18, 2009
It is 10 months out from my surgery with the amazing Dr. Fuzz. I am now a size 10.... yeah!! My goal is a size 8 and I am exercising like crazy. I have inspired others to look into the process as well and one friend is scheduled to have Fuzz do her surgery soon. I want to make a difference in the lives over everyone I meet!

Don't want to hit that stopping point... I'll freak

So ok - I dont own a scale in the house for a reason. I admit that in order to get weighed ( if I don't have a doctors appointment coming up) I break into scales at Walmart or Target and weigh myself. Yes - this is insane... but it would be more insane if I had a scale at home because I tend to weigh myself several times a day and my mood goes up and down based on the data......lol
So now I am getting worried about when I will hit the plateau as they call it - as my psychologist calls it... it is inevitable... but I am not ready... I have lost 80 lbs.. I need to loose 60 more and I want it to come off fast... I am not ready for it to slow down... help..........anyone dealing with this?

One month later and here I am!!

Well - a month later and 40 lbs lighter! I knew I could do it...but what an interesting journey. The hardest part for me is remembering to slow down eating.... and there are those times that I just want to take a huge long gulp of water or crystal lite, etc.... It is hard to feel like I am quenching my thirst with a million little sips. Anyone feel like that too? My war wounds are healing well... and I am sleeping through the night and not going to the bathroom every 5 minutes to pee.
This was worth it....and I can't wait to get the my finish line!! I wish the best to everyone no matter the stage you are in!
