Sayeed Ikramuddin
"First of all, Dr. Ikramuddin is a really nice guy. I have only met him once, but I liked him right away. He went over all the different kinds of surgery, including the old dangerous ones they used to do, just so we were all well informed. I know that he has done over 1,000 surgeries, so I feel safe with him. When I had my one on one meeting with him, I told him that I had been researching WLS for over a year and he treated me like an informed person. This means a lot to me because so many doctors treat me like I am dumb because I am young. Jennifer is in charge of scheduling, and she was very nice, but she seemed very rushed whenever I talked to her. But that's understandable because I am sure that they are SUPER busy. I also have a habit of calling on Monday mornings! :o) Donna, his nurse, is also very nice and answered the million questions I have. Overall I rate them a 9 on a scale of 1-10. 10-14-2002 Ok I am now 2 months post-op, and I still would absolutley recommend Dr. Ikramuddin. Everytime I see him he is so nice, caring, and encouraging. He's exactly the way a surgeon should be. The only issue I have is with the office in general. Everytime I have an appointment with them, I end up waiting there for hours. They do all the follow up/lab appts. on Thurs., so everyone in the world is there, and they are always behind. They need to get a bigger office and more staff. But other than that, it is a pleasure going there. :o) "

"Sometimes I had to wait up to 15 minutes for any nurse to respond to my page. When they finally did come, sometimes they were rude. The OR staff was EXCELLENT! "
