Denis Halmi

"I first met Dr Halmi during a brief pre-op interview. He used a pictoral guide to explain the surgery. He never asked me "why" I was obese; nor did I feel any condemnation from him. After I was approved, I met twice with one of his dieticians, and again once briefly with Dr. Halmi the week before surgery. He has a very quiet, gentlemanly manner. I saw him once, briefly, in hospital and he changed my pain med to one I could "stomach". I saw him again this week to have my staples removed, and again, he was gentle and quiet, willing to answer my questions. I have more post-op dietician appts and will see Dr. Halmi on a regular basis as well. I would highly recommend this surgeon to NVA folks seeking bariatric surgery. "
