I just had my surgery 10 days ago, on July 19, 2010.....I feel like I was hit by a bus!!! Everyday is getting better though. I went for my follow up with Dr. Bono yesterday. I lost 8 pounds and can move on to stage 2 diet!! YAY!!!!!
I had some complications, of course....nurse curse we call it. I had an allergic reaction to pain meds....I had a reaction to anesthesia....I was on my period and got a migraine... My H&H kept dropping and I needed blood transfusions. So I ended up in the hospital 6 days instead of 3. I have a VERY bruised belly cause I wasn't clotting, but that will get better.
Good news is my blood pressure and blood sugar were normal by the time I was discharged!!

Hi there, my name is Dawn and I was told about this site my one of my patients. I am just starting the process to get gastric bypass (RenY) done. I can't wait! I have been fat my whole life and I am turning 40 this year. for the first time in my life I want to be heathly and thin(er). Wish me luck!!!
